Sega Bodega w/ Cecile Believe – 21+

With his first two records Salvador (2020) and Romeo (2021), Sega Bodega (Salvador Navarrete) introduced a reinvention of dance music drive by the kind of dream-logic which addled the mind but made sense to the body. His new album, Dennis (out April 26), arrived following an experience of mania. Imagine spikes of euphoria, sleepless nights and surrender to impulse. The difference between ‘reality’ and the mind-altered state feels paper-thin. Dennis is a translation of how this feels.Sega Bodega’s records have always lent themselves to introspective listening as easily as they fill dance floors, but with Dennis, the intention is to go harder: this is a club record to lose yourself in.   With support from Cecile Believe

Katelyn Convery, Kate Dinsmore, Hayley Lynn – 21+

Katelyn Convery:  https://www.katelynconvery.com Spotify Instagram    Bittersweet angst and optimism weave through Katelyn Convery’s music, piercing the frontier of modern alt-rock, and harkening back to the edgy era of 90s NW grunge, with textures characteristic of early 2000s indie-pop. Alluring melodies, compelling arrangements, and perceptive, unapologetic lyrics land as a ferocious, buttery roar. The result is something altogether timeless and new – and getting noticed. Since releasing her sophomore album “Miles Awake”, Katelyn has garnered a dedicated following on the west coast and beyond. Kate Dinsmore is a singer-songwriter based in Seattle, WA. A dynamic performer and vocalist, Dinsmore brings her songs to the stage with an undeniable presence. Her music is powerful and emotional, with influences ranging from Jazz to Rock to Americana. Dinsmore’s performances quickly gained a following in Seattle, allowing her to open for notable artists such as Pat Benatar, Colin Hay, and the Dip. Her voice is triumphant and intimate. The perfect soundtrack to dropping off the last of your ex’s stuff and driving off into the sunset..https://www.katedinsmoremusic.com Hayley Lynn: https://www.hayleylynnmusic.com Spotify Facebook Instagram Hayley Lynn planted the seeds of her music career around 2016 in her hometown of Portland, OR. Her folky roots quickly took shape as she organically emerged with a sound that can be described as sultry, indie-folk-pop. Over the next two years, Lynn refined her gripping and raw style while amassing a body of work that achieved successes few songwriters can claim. Her 2018 album, Bring on the Flames, was performed to several sold out shows across the Pacific Northwest and had placements on ABC, Big Ten Network, 700 Club, and Netflix Original shows, “The Pier” and “Money Heist.” Immediately building on that impressively swift momentum, she began releasing a healthy stream of flourishing singles and EPs over the next four years, each one more potent than the last.  This culminated with her masterful 2022 album, Horizon, where she demonstrated songwriting and vocal prowess with a maturity and poise that is moving to say the least. In addition to being a hometown favorite, Lynn is back on the road touring throughout the U.S and Canada with breakthrough performances at festivals and venues such as Red Ants Pants Music Festival, Oregon Country Fair, Northwest Folklife, Golden Gate Park Bandshell, Hotel Cafe, Winningstad Theater, Bloodworks Live Studio, Mississippi Studios, and The Old Church Concert Hall. Lynn’s newest release, The Art of Letting Go: Side A, came out on March 15th, 2024 and is just as stunning as her previous level of artistry found on Horizon. These songs will deepen her fan’s connection with her as she sings in a familiar style about the struggles of moving on from memories and situations that don’t serve her anymore.

Pearl and the Oysters – w/ Teal Pop – 21+

Juliette Pearl Davis and Joachim Polack aren’t just musical collaborators – they’re also life partners. As Pearl & the Oysters, they make songs that speak to eclectic tastes in music and pop culture; as Juju and Jojo, they’re kindred spirits. What began as a high-school friendship in Paris blossomed into a creative and personal relationship that has spanned decades and continents. In another life, Juliette and Joachim made pop music in Paris but when the opportunity arose, the pair skipped town for the U.S. After four years immersed in the open-minded DIY scene of Gainesville, Florida, Pearl & The Oysters headed to Los Angeles, where they connected with artists including Mild High Club and Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab, and finished up their new record, Coast 2 Coast.Coast 2 Coast draws on this experience for its colorful cocktail of sounds: the swamps of Florida and sandy L.A. beaches under a mirrorball sun; a radio picking up a faraway broadcast before tuning into an oldies pop station; crashing waves that melt into the sound of Juliette’s white noise machine. It documents Juliette and Joachim’s move across the U.S. and the unfamiliar feeling of being settled, having found a “sense of ‘home’ in one another.” Coast 2 Coast is out 21 April on Stones Throw.with support from Teal Pop

Amtrac DJ set – w/ Drew Cornwall (DJ Set) – 21+

Amtrac favors a tactile assembly of alternative electronic music reliant on handcrafted nuance akin to that of a band. The Kentucky-born and Los Angeles-based artist, DJ, producer, remixer, multi- instrumentalist, and founder of Openers carefully fuses textures and styles into an unabridged, unfiltered, and undeniable sonic trip on his aptly titled second full-length, Oddyssey [Openers/RCA Records]. As such, he imparts a piece of himself on every moment — from the production and composition to the vocals and performance. The story represents the culmination of a near nine-year journey since the release of his acclaimed 2011 debut, Came Along. The album elevated the Morehead, KY native — born Caleb Cornett — to the cutting edge of electronic music. In its wake, he amassed an acclaimed catalog of originals and remixes. Lending his touch to tunes by Two Door Cinema Club, Elderbrook, Sigur Rós, and Chromatics, Pitchfork described his remixing as “epic-sounding.” Among the originals, 2014’s “Those Days” notably boasted vocals from Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Following the 2016 solo EP Lost In Motion, he reached a new plateau on the 1987 EP during 2017. Both “Never Lost” and “Piano Boy” put up over 6 million Spotify streams each as his total stream tally neared the 100 million mark. Along the way, he earned praise from Billboard, Mixmag, Revolt, Complex, i-D Magazine, and more in addition to gracing the stages of major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Osheaga Festival, and Holy Ship!, to name a few. Not to mention, he headlined shows on four continents. Launching Openers in 2017, he provided a home to tracks by Durante, Rick Trainor, Luces, and many others. Amidst this whirlwind, he continued to write music, working towards what would become Oddyssey. This time around, he nodded to a wider swath of influences. Inspired by filmmaker and composer John Carpenter of Halloween and Escape From New York fame, he further utilized outboard gear and incorporated synthesizer soundscapes as he built the framework of the record. He also sang on a total of four tracks. He teased the album by way of “Madness to Mayhem,” which Billboard dubbed, “a song that seems to bridge the gap between his Came Along days and the moody blues of his present.” Meanwhile, the first single “Between The Lines” illuminates an evolution. Above resounding piano, Amtrac’s upbeat and uplifting production builds towards a hummable hook awash in a rush of fluttering neon synths and a driving beat. He croons, “I said every single lesson is stuck on loop, read between the lines.” “There’s a lot of trial-and-error tinkering to find the magic moment,” he says. “That launches the path of a song. It’s what happened on ‘Between The Lines.’ I wanted to do something faster and more high energy, and I went for it. As far as the lyrics go, most of them pertain to my relationships. That’s the case here, for sure.” Elsewhere on the record, Amtrac’s vocals also drive the indie rock-influenced “Stratego” and pensive “Accountable,” while Lali Puna delivers a dreamy cameo on “No Place” and Alex Metric contributes a heartfelt vocal turn to the synth swells of “So Afraid.” Renowned for his performances, the live show will reflect the same spirit, integrating visuals as he plays synthesizers live and takes the microphone. “I want to do different things every show,” he adds. “It’s meant to be unique.” In the end, Amtrac’s authenticity shines in everything he does.
